A couple just under 20lb but what a day on cod

some cracking fish there Paul, fishing is good up here as well JFK had 70 fish the other day with a lot in the 10-15lb range, hope it keeps going.
 
took a day off today with a view to recovery after Sundays "football" game ..... :) turned out a nice day so I had a quick look out the tyne.
Mackerel still in abundance about 3 mile off with the best cod of the day to 8lb (on a sidewinder shad) ... :) cant be bad for November ...

A day afloat without a cabin boy makes all those things nigh on impossible Tone........ should have seen the bother with the 8lbder when I decided I`d better gaff it .... :) .... as it happened it was well enough hooked to lift :) :)
