Fished back of the farm, 6.30 to 9.00 last night and had 4 cod, total about 20lb, lost 2 in the surf,all on the ebb, committed the cardinal sin and ran out of bait. Lug, rag, and razor used.

Nice one Waldorf had the sea dropped a little as I fished Thursday the first time I had fished that side of the beach when there was a sea running and I was not holding bottom and had to move tried that beach for weeks and loads flounders whiting coalies etc but no cod oh we'll!!

What did u take them on?

Nice one mate. I fished the pier and could see loads of lights on the beach. I thought there must of been fish about cause no-one moved all night!!

A good bag there mate, well done! It did look nice when I drove by yesterday afternoon, just wish I'd got it together to get down myself last night to try for my first fish of 2012.

Yeah, Steve A. had a couple to just under 8lb & his mate a few as well - just didn't want to blow all my bait before my matches tomorrow & monday! Plenty left in the sea yet I reckon.....
