Can you eat a peeler lobster????

just got back from a rumage around the rocks come across a peeler lobster does anyone no if they are still ok to cook and eat??


I dont see why not any advice ??

Its illegal to be in posession of soft Lobster,either for bait or food.

and it is a wopping big fine as well, also don't take berried lobsters (those with eggs) and a soft lobster probably has no taste

It wasn't soft it was hard, it was a peeler, but i didn't no till i got home when i checked it out of curiosity.


It is also illegal to collect lobsters or crabs from the shoreline without a shellfish permit.

Just a heads up as the bailiff was kicking about the day, should he not off checked if it was a peeler?
