if the sea is flat weather fine and no rain we always used to go at eastergood friday and monday.plenty of pollock two to three pound spinning frozen sandeel also coalys and odd wrasse.waste of time if weather bad. davyGot a week off work at the end of april would it be worth a shot up eyemouth or st abbs?
It certainly is. It may be a bit early for the bigger pollack but well worth trying a couple of hours with floatfished or freelined live ragworm (the bigger the better) especially from mid May to mid July.. st abbs is a fishermans dream if the weather is warm and sunny.
