good start to the season

been having a good start to the season.

1st club comp i fished, weighed in 2 codling for 2lb8oz, came 2nd

fished the whitley open, 2 codling 3lb8oz

last nights club comp, 3 codling for 4lb

been fishing in between (scouting) and had many sizable fish.

hoping it the start of good things to come ;D

roll on the cald, windy, wet nights lol


everyone else getting fish??

they all seem to be around the same size.

apart from the freak ones that have been cropping up, like mr G-force and his monster pollack ;D

cant wait for the open at the weekend

its looking good for the winter season. There was a club comp on last nite with quite a few fish taken from hauxley one lad fishing the pads had 11 for 19lb but there was fish getting caught all within about 50yrds of the pads. baits used were lug rag and crab canny nite all round.

i was fishing hartley manged 3.

i was up at hauxley beach yesterday morning, looked a tad rough, but never really fished that area before.

where is the pads? that the rocky outcrops on the beach to the north?

it is mate. looked at the beach but its was flat and a lot of weed had been washed up. the lad who caught didnt think he would get on the pads because of the tide but he managed and it paid off. all the lads fishing in that area took fish last nite.

and i aint been fishing since 24sep too so must get myself back out for the october sessions
