iraq hostage killing

Just seen it myself....feel sick. They\'re civilians for gods sake trying to re-build Iraq, Its a war the west will never win.

I\'m with Sless on this one. If they kill Ken Bigley, then kill the 2 iraqi women prisoners. It wouldn\'t make a blind bit of diffeence to those animals because one things for sure, they will never stop doing this until the west pull out.
 
I\'am led to believe and i hope its not true,that the video\'s of the killings probably all took place at the same time......... :(

Still of the opinion that the job should have been finished the first time around when we had the chance. Just watched a programme on the history channel about the first gulf war and Stormin Norman, Colin Powell, George Bush snr were all having their say on why it was stopped short of going all the way to Baghdad. At the end of the day, the yanks accepted the surrender from the Iraqis but let them keep their helicoptors in the air to knock hell out of the kurds. Old Maggie was on as well and she said that not only must a dictator be beaten, he must BE SEEN BY HIS OWN PEOPLE to be beaten. She also said that two years after the first gulf war, Bush snr was out of a job, John Major was out of a job but Saddam was STILL IN POWER so, WHO WON !!!!!!!!. Maggie wasnt on my Christmas card list when she took my job at Westoe Colliery away from me but you must admit that at times She spoke sense.

Wouldnt miss it for the world Sless. It wont be the same without old Dennis though, he was the life and soul of any party. At least Mark wont be there as he doesnt know that there are TWO Rose and Crowns in Shields and its more than likely that he will turn up at the wrong one !
