Why are there so many under aged kids fishing on shields pier standing on walls and throwing mackerel guts about and gutting fish on the path leaving it for us all to slip on yesturday i seen 14 year olds making joints think we need some comunity warden activity up there now and again

there isnt a age limit for fishing but for the standing on the wall etc(dangerous ) and guts no need for it

it usually happens in doorways /parks/ bus stands and out of the way places but on the piers you just notice it more when the macky season is over they will crawl back in there warrens and them kids are our future great init

not very nice for people to look at,espeically visiters who walk along the pier, not just the kids that are bad it's the lager louts aswell espeically stella drinkers.

well looking at the pic doesnt look like any macky was getting caught lol

thats piers for ya shoulder to shoulder in the summer

Just wait till the school holiday commence and then things will get alot worse, they require a good slap across the lug with a wet fish if you know what i mean

i thought we were taking about so called UNDER AGED KIDS[ whatever that means]spinning ,and you all ,seem to be classing all youngsters as drug taking, ****ed up chavs, and that is simply not true, think back to when you were a kid fishing for coalies down the side then moving up a notch and trying to spin for macky and the excitement when you first hooked one, thats why we all love our sport, because we all started the same way and got the bug when we were kids ,and it never leaves you ,while i know you get a lot of dickheads on the piers during the summer months, don't tar all yougsters with the same brush, after all they are our sports future.

Kids of all shapes and sizes on Blyth last night and I have to admit I only witnessed 1 that would have called a charva - smerking tabs, swearing like a trooper and throwing his beer cans into the water - made even more frustrating by the fact that he was float fishing, wearing a greys apollo jacket and probably regards himself a "proper" angler...luckily the younger kid with him who may have been his brother kept calling him "Buzzcocks" to his face so that made me laugh and prevented me from throwing him in the drink after his cans :D
