It's about three hundred yards upriver from the Copthorne. Register from 9 a.m. fishing 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry £5 all of the money will be donated to "Cains Drean To Walk". The event is being sponsored by Moonfleet Angling Felling. The competition is being run on a points system i.e. 4 points for whiting, 3 for codling and coalfish, 2 points for flatfish and eels, and 1 point for all other species, all sizes count. All fish to be returned to the water please.
 
sunday 7th April it is to raise funds for a 6 year oil boy with cerebral palsy . so he can get treatment to help him walk . it is beeing run by the angling trust and sponsored by moonfleet angling

'In aid of Cains Dream to Walk'

Presentation: From 3pm to 3.45pm (Will be outside the Environment Agency in the car park)

Entry for classes: £5 (Which will be donated to “Cains Dream to Walk” which is a registered charity).

Despite Cains severe disability, at the age of 6 years he loves to fish with his Father and his dream is to be able to walk to his favourite fishing venue.

Donations of prizes have also been received so far from Shimano, the Barbour Foundation and the

Country House Sea Angling Club.

The competition will be fished on a points basis.
