The codling crouch

best of luck, who do you want to take your part in the film

I think it's a great idea to make a movie of the "Codling Crouch"

You could have "Anchovy Hopkins" or "Prawn Connery" playing the leading man, then you could have "Skate Winslet" as the leading Lady.

The theme song could be sung by "Cod Stewart" or "Shirley Bassey"

:) :) :)

Sorry......Ian.

Not sure about the young "me" - thought maybe one of the 1Direction lads might be similar looking. As for 18+........now that I've shaved the 'tash off I thought I could probably tackle it myself, do my own stunts around St Abbs, late night sessions in St Vedas Hotel, swims in the pools at Coldingham........shouldn't be a problem haha....

Class Ian. Who would play the old man? Weather beaten, grumpy, tells lies about where he's going fishing, looks like he's fallen over a few times on the rocks............?????

How about Bruce Weizt a.k.a. Belker from Hill Street Blues....

Have to think a bit harder as to who would play yourself David...not so easy now the characteristic 'tash has gone!

Gary :)

Just think of the publicity for the north east and for angling if there was a documentary or film made! Its deffo an idea to be considered id offer my services (cooking wise) for the cast and crew!

Just received delivery of book from Waterstones today and already read book. Excellent read and really useful. Might make it a goal to try every mark over the future apart the spot at end, legs were wobbly just reading about it!!!

Just to let you know -

- if you order a copy on line, be it Amazon, W H Smiths, or other, they source the finding of the book out to a company in Eastbourne who contact me, I send them the copy and they post it, either direct to you under the banner of the company you ordered it from or they send it to them and they send it to you. Still with me???

For the last 3 weeks the Eastbourne company have stopped e-mailing me every time they have an order and they save them up until the early hours of Monday morning and send me a weeks worth. So this morning I had an order for 6, last Monday it was 7 and so on.

It's no problem for me but if you order a book on a Monday the order might not get to me until the next Monday so it might appear to take longer than it should.

Hope this helps.

I got my copy on Friday David, the missus has grabbed it to put away for xmas for me.

Been looking forward to reading it for a while now, guess waiting a little longer won't kill me.
