This is me first post lads, and am not happy. Fished tynemouth pier thurs nite, some cracking fish were caught. Felt sorry 4 the lad from gateshead who lost the monster on the end, a saw the fish it was double figures. . . Anyway, wen a had 2 go 4 a walk (call of nature), i would like 2 thank the thieving scumbag (words chosen) for helping theirselves 2 my tackle box, some of the stuf taken belonged 2 my 15 year old son. Am pleased these people are the minority among genuine lads enjoying a bit of fishing. Cheers, happy fishing. Davey.
 
Same people fish the pier all the time. Disgusting about tackle. Would love to be there with u when the scummy ****s are fishing.
 
Cheers m8, the lads who no me will tell u a few year ago a would`ve emptied peoples boxes till a found them. 2 wrongs dont make a right. The annoying thing is if they had asked a would give them me last quid, never mind a box of tackle. Nowt as queer as people eh.....!
 
Aye, cheers scotty, like a said m8, it`s the minority that gets decent lads a bad name. But apart from that it was a cracking session. Usually fish blyth, but deffinately fish tynemouth again.
 
Davey, you would think that the other anglers, was there any, would have said something. Don't call these people anglers it is unprintable what I call them
 
Your right allan, cheers, but am not ganna lower meself 2 there level. There were plenty people there m8, but the scum are good at what they do.the gear taken were small tins/boxes from inside me seat box. A had some good crack with some good lads on there and a will be back.
 
Never heard of that one before-nicking stuff out of your box while you take a pee. Its bang out of order.
Is tynemouth pier the one opposite South Shields pier?.

Aye m8, other side of the tyne, av only fished there a few times, only caught whity`s but lately av seen some cracking cod taken. Av also been told that it may be opened up again, any locals got any info on this . ?

hey mate it happens on every pier some scumbag stole my rig wallet off roker i sweared down whoever stole it with bad curse or a painfull happening ... had most my rig making stuff in ;)

sad to hear that m8, theiving scum. but i agree theres more decent lads out there than scum . im thinking of fishing it next week so ill throw a few mouse traps in me bag ! :)

cheers coddy,we`ll just have 2 look after our gear more often m8. Anyway moanin on here won`t get it back 4 me, so thats the end of that. Happy fishing m8, good luck, and if the lines not in the water the big cod can`t take it . ! .

God help anyone I catch helping themselves to my gear when they think I'm not looking! That's real bad luck you've had there mate, I've never fished tynemouth pier, but I'm sure 99% of the lads are sound, same as everywhere else. Just takes one little scrote to spoil everything.y
I always fish alone, but on piers I always make a point of talking to the anglers next to me and normally everythings cool.
 
total scum wor kid i tell ya if i was there i wouldn't have happened thats not the way to go on i would have ripped their little arms and feed them to them it wont happen on the maryjean (very soon bud maybe a few weeks and we will be out )your the first one on the boat bud
 
aye welcome to the sight mate and sorry bout your gear but like lads said these people are few and far between mate and 99% of anglers are good honest blokes and wouldnt put up with that thing happening
