When cleaning up yesterdays Whiting I noticed (as ever) they were riddled with worm in the gut which had also made it's way into the flesh...naturally they went straight in the bin...I kinda hoped they might be clean as they were miles out and hadn't been near the manky rivers yet - which I know is backwards logic a little
Anyone know why Whiting in particular seem subsceptible to gut worm? and do other species suffer it as badly or worse?
