West winds yes straight west winds on 2 out of three weather sites for the weekend, we may get yes may get a full weekend in June with smooth or slight sea...will be the first time since the end of May.

Comp on Sunday thou so be busy out at sea :(

I'm watching the weather sites like a mad man as we have a trip on the JFK on Friday. Only one model going for an Easterly at present. Fingers crossed the rest win!

Long way away but i think it will be fine, seems Thursday is the start of the slight/smooth sea and getting better after that.

looks likes the weather will be spot on after monday

According to Magic Seaweed yes, but Met Office states otherwise. Mind you, I don't pay much attention to Met Office anymore, it has let me down a few times.

Shame that the tides aren't later in the day because I'll miss out all week til the weekend due to work and no holidays left! :( Would have quite fancied a few cheeky evening jaunts if possible.

Yer the wet is better for the wind speed and weather rather than the direction, by Wed we should have it just about right to make that call. I know i am planning both weekend days and 1 mid-week this week

wish i didnt suffer with the worst sea sickness ever would love a day trip boat fishing.

Theese easterly winds can't last forever, unless you are lucky and live in the west, with a bit of luck it may bring the fish in, who knows.I cant wait to get back out im sick of carp and river fishing already.brown trout dosen't taste as good as cod,Well done to those lads who have braved the weather over the weekend, see you out there next week on a mild 2mph westerly!!! I wish.

looks like the met office have got it wrong (monday)the only reason we are not fishing today is the lads got called into work wot a bummer out the morra but

Sea is still not flat mind, some big rollers in the river and lots of white water around the piers, by late afternoon i would say it be between slight and smooth :)
