northumbrian open shore contest

Don\'t fish comps on a Sunday any more as I have to work on the night, still not sure if I can make it as it is a wee bit late for me.

Brian, does not matter how good a comp is, how well organised, how good a prize table, how good the fishing area is, how good everything is, the one thing you will always get is a moaner. No doubt after the comp somebody will be on the phone moaning about something that was not right for them. Hope it is nobody on here because the answer they get is the same each time i get a moaner after all opens FXXX OFF and organise the perfect comp to suit everbody yourself.

Now Now Al - i can remember someone Moaning about not being able to take a photo of the winner of last years South Shields Open ,i was there when the winner said he did`nt want it taken ,then the Bloke with the camera moaned and groaned like nowt on earth , any idea who it was Alan - ROTFLMCO :o :o :P :P :P :P
 
re frazers,i beleive that you can register at frazers as well as most other shops,i no they will supply most shops that want tickets but cant guarantee anyone in to sell on the sat.bloody cant wait only hope the weather turns.
 
BriH put my hand up it was me, but i was not maoning at the competiton it is a very good well run cometition, i was annoyed at the lad who won, a member of South Shields club who would not let me take his photo. When i am asked to advertsie an event for someone in the papers i expect a reciprical action from the club involved, and the phtographs would have gone in the papers and given the club more publicity for the next year. I had made the effort to get to that event at their request to take photos by cancelling something else i had on and to say the least I was a bit miffed. Obviously this year if something else crops up on that day I know where i will be. Better safe than sorry.
 
different story toady at the Newbiggin, no need to ask the winners or some with the better catches they where queing up for their photos to be taken. And i had the full result only a couple of hours after the comp finished. Cheers Rob it was much appreciated, makes life a lot easier
 
Have just spoken to Brian Hurrell and donated 2 books to the comp c/o Brian who PM\'d me. One is a prize, the other is a secret weight. Wonder what the weight could be.... the answer\'s in the book.
All you have to do now is read the book before the weekend and then target that weight. Seems easy enough to me......from Cannock lol

this one is for alan charlton, i was listening to some of the lads that organise the open and they are wondering if you have any photos of last year that you can post i.e prize table etc.anyway judging by the views and response this should be a good day,weather permitting.

fcuk me forgot how good it was.they have got to come up trumps to beat that,but i already no they have been very hard at work very hard.they said last year they would be back biggter and better than the first,and i honestely think this is the open contest for the north-east.
only hope thyey continue to grow and not be a distant memorie.judging by the effort that the club members put into the event i dont think so,maybe this is the open of opens who nows,thanks for the picture alan can you get a closer shot this time just so we can see the brand names?????
