No idea where heaviest bag came from, I fished whitburn and saw 1 codling come in between 8 rods spread across 500 plus yards. Nowt on the bays, 4lber from souter

Think the HB came from the Helipad at Jarrow 15lb ish, a lad from Barrow apparently.

Yeh it was think the first two came from there I fished there to had a 8lb 4oz bag also the heviest flounder I lost 3 fish on the waters edge to but that's fishin

..as said,2days digging away,3 days crabing local, 1 bloody fish for all the effort. thats the way it goes.dont know how the seirous anglers manage all the comps,theres always n/y.ps,so dont take the micky.TRIED,but failed. some very good anglers ays know in the n/e area.ILL say it last time,welldone the winner ALAN HEELEY,pipped me be 6ozs.

Well done Reg. You're right - the winners tend to be those that put the time in, both bait wise and the marks fished, although there's no skill whether you're an ounce or two winner or loser. Just hope you haven't peaked a month too soon lol.
